Hey guys have you ever wondered what the best fitness plan of ALL
TIME is? As you may know there are thousands of different plans and workouts
that have been created, developed, and tested over the course of time; but
which one really is the best? For this 20% project, we will embark on a journey
to make fitness dreams come true by researching popular strength and cardio
workouts, interviewing professionals, and yes possibly killing ourselves trying
them out on our Arnold Schwarzenegger want a be bodies. I’m teaming up with my
brother (link to his 20% project blog is down below) and every Friday in our weekly blog we will be updating you
guys on what workout we researched, the effectiveness of the workout, and the approximate amount of time needed to complete said plan; this is also how we
will be judging which one is considered the best. We will also be
updating you on our own progress with the fitness plan we select for ourselves.
If you want to learn more about how we injured ourselves each weak continue
reading “Bros and Fitness” and be sure to check out my brother’s blog “The Fad
Busters” for more information. Also don’t forget to leave a comment on our blog
if you have any ideas that would make our blogs better.
This is a GREAT idea! I am certainly looking forward to reading your blog as I need some pointers, myself! I'm personally looking for the quickest yet most effective workout program I can find. I usually only have 30 minutes in the gym, typically. Do you think you will incur any costs for the project? Do you have a mentor?
ReplyDeleteI don't think costs will be a big deal. We already have a gym to work out at and test new things(as well as a test subject who is also our mentor, Landon). It would be nice to have more test subjects who would be willing to help us but I don't think that will be possible. However, I do know some professionals that we could interview instead.
DeleteI would be happy to be a test subject, but I doubt I could do your workout programs! But maybe it would be the impetus I need to move more throughout my day. I just got a Fitbit for my birthday and I am pretty competitive with myself, so it has helped, but I need to do more.
DeleteAwesome! I look forward to reading about your journey. Is this going to focus solely on workouts, or are you going to get nutrition involved in the equation?
ReplyDeleteGood nutrition is very important and we are defiantly going to talk about it but it wont be the main focus.
DeleteGood question :)
How exactly are you going to keep track of which workout is better?
ReplyDeleteThe way we are going to do this is to test the effectiveness of different plans until the end of the school year then compare our results back to back. Yes I know very little time to do that but we'll do our best.
DeleteAs for an exact plan... you'll just have to keep reading my blog and find out. hehehe ;)
